'Snow Queen' is favoured for its slender form and the white bark which develops earlier than on other Himalayan Birch. Elegant mid-green ovate leaves are complemented by yellow/brown catkins in spring. In autumn, the foliage turns a beautiful golden yellow.
Betula utilis jacquemontii 'Snow Queen' is favoured for its slender form suited to smaller gardens and will grow to a height and spread of 7 x 3.5 metres in 20 years. Providing year round interest, 'Snow Queen' Himalayan Birch is a tough tree that will grow in virtually all soils and conditions.
