Hamamelis intermedia 'Ruby Glow'
Hamamelis × intermedia 'Ruby Glow' is a bushy, upright shrub that can grow to a height and spread of 4 x 3 metres. In January to February, lightly scented flowers with purple-red calyces and red curled petals appear, adding a pop of much needed colour during the bare winter months.
It also features deciduous leaves with wide, rounded, mid-green leaves that mature to a darker green before turning orange and red in autumn. 'Ruby Glow' tolerates moist but well-drained soil and thrives in a position with full sun to partial shade.
