Cornus alba 'Sibirica' Shrub
Cornus alba 'Sibirica' is a very hardy deciduous shrub that really comes into its own in autumn and winter when the bright, crimson red stems can be appreciated. Flowers are small and cream, producing bluish-white berries in autumn.
Oval green leaves turn reddish in autumn, before dropping off and giving way to the bright red stems that make this such a popular shrub. Expect a height and spread of 2.5 x 2.5 metres from this relatively fast growing bush.
Cornus alba 'Sibirica' will grow in most soil conditions, preferring well-drained soil. Whilst best in full sun, it is content in partial shade. Dogwoods look great either individually or as a group for adding colour to winter borders. We also offer other Dogwood shrubs with different coloured stems to compliment 'Sibirica'.
